Smiling Shine is a nonprofit organization which supports the children of the orphanage Mazhalai Illam in the Indian city of Madurai. Around 30 babies and children which lost their parents, escaped from infanticide, or were abandoned, live in the orphanage.
Since the first voluntary service in 2010 we are working with passion and are highly committed to support the childcare infrastructure on the spot.
To realize long-term projects we established the nonprofit organization Smiling Shine in the middle of 2018. All member contributions and donations are fully used to finance our projects and support the children in need.
Together we are able to conjure a smile in the face of the children and to provide them with a safe home. This is our vision !
